Texans' Jaelen Strong: Needs to get better

Strong, who dropped a pass and committed a personal foul penalty in Thursday night's loss to the Patriots, "has to do some things better to continue to have the ball thrown to him," according to Houston head coach Bill O'Brien.

Analysis:

Strong's mistakes Thursday weren't the reason Houston was embarrassed in New England, but for someone looking for a role in the offense, he didn't do himself any favors. The personal foul penalty occurred deep in Houston territory and forced the Texans to convert on third-and-20 early early in the fourth quarter with Houston three scores down. If Braxton Miller (hamstring) remains out of action for Week 4 against the Titans, Strong will have an opportunity to atone for his Week 3 mistakes.
