Bengals' C.J. Uzomah: Misses Wednesday's practice

Uzomah (ribs) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com reports.

Analysis:

Uzomah's absence from Wednesday's practice due to a rib injury could put his status for Sunday's game against the Broncos in jeopardy. Tyler Kroft and Ryan Hewitt are the Bengals' only two healthy tight ends at this point as Tyler Eifert continues to deal with his ankle issue. Uzomah's status should continue to be monitored throughout the week as he could be the starter once again Week 3 if Eifert is ruled out.
