Redskins' Kirk Cousins: Crucial turnover Sunday mars productive game

Cousins completed 28 of 46 passes for 364 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Sunday's loss to the Cowboys. He added 20 rushing yards on two carries.

Analysis:

Cousins was productive Sunday and moved the ball effectively, but he committed a monumental error at the end of the third quarter when he was picked off in the end zone after throwing into quadruple coverage. He was also part of a botched snap that cost the Redskins a 10-second runoff on the final drive of the game, leaving just eight seconds off the clock, and he launched the ensuing Hail Mary out of the end zone to conclude the game. Cousins has piled up 695 yards through the air through two games, but his 1:3 touchdown:turnover rate and the crucial mistakes have left something to be desired. He will look to turn things around in Week 3 versus the Giants.
