Texans' J.J. Watt: Active for Week 2

Watt (back) is active for Sunday's Week 2 matchup with the Chiefs, BJ Kissel of Chiefs.com reports.

Analysis:

After logging a full practice Wednesday, Watt was limited Thursday and Friday, but that may have been only for precautionary purposes, as he ended up getting taken off the injury report. Though a late July back surgery appeared to threaten Watt's availability for the start of the season, he was able to return in time to suit up in last week's season opener against the Bears, notching one tackle in the win.
