The Miami Dolphins are set have a pair of second-year playmakers return to the lineup for an all-important division showdown.

After sitting out Week 1 with hamstring injury, wide receiver DeVante Parker is expected to suit up for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Parker was limited throughout the week of practice and officially listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.

Running back Jay Ajayi will also reportedly make his 2016 debut, after being left home during last week's road trip in what appeared to be a message-sending decision from the coaching staff.

Provided that all parties are beyond the issues that appeared to have arise heading into the season, as head coach Adam Gase suggested this week, Ajayi should be expected to take on a role as the primary backup ball-carrier.

Arian Foster remains the clear-cut starter and every-down back for Miami's offense. The veteran ball-carrier was deemed questionable with a hamstring issue heading into the weekend, but there wasn't any sort of concern surrounding his availability after consecutive practices in which he was a full participant.
