Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is officially active for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens after working his way back from a knee injury suffered in Week 7.

Though it was unclear as to whether he'd start in his highly anticipated return to the lineup, the Steelers confirmed as much with an announcement following pregame warmups.

Roethlisberger's presence under center provides a substantial boost for a Steelers team offense that is severely limited with him out of the lineup.

The four-time Pro Bowler puts an explosive passing attack at full strength for a game that Pittsburgh must win to remain atop the AFC North after dropping two consecutive contests.

In six starts prior to the injury, Roethlisberger had completed 64.2 percent of his passes for 1,685 yards, 16 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
