Falcons' Julio Jones: Limited practice Wednesday

Jones (ankle) was limited at Wednesday's practice, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "[Mohamed] Sanu and Julio will be limited today," head coach Dan Quinn said. "We anticipate their arrow pointing up for more work [on Thursday] heading into the weekend."

Analysis:

If Quinn is in fact a seer, Jones is poised for a full practice as early as Thursday, but two sessions remain this week for the wideout to fit in all possible drills. After a modest showing (for Jones) in Week 1, he's likely licking his chops in anticipation of Sunday's game at Oakland, whose secondary was picked apart by Drew Brees for 423 yards in the season opener.
