Ravens supporting Flacco with 'ELITE' T-shirts
The Baltimore Ravens are not giving up their stance that Joe Flacco is an elite quarterback.
In fact, they're going above and beyond to show support for the questionable claim.
Before going to their season opener on Sunday, tight end Dennis Pitta surprised Flacco by wearing a T-shirt emblazoned with his quarterback's face and the word "ELITE" written underneath.
"I picked up Dennis on the way to the game last Sunday wearing one (of the shirts)," Flacco told media Wednesday. " I said, 'Man, why do you got my face on your shirt?' and I think they planned on wearing them to the team meeting on Saturday night and I think Dennis just wanted to be the guy to get all the glory."
Several other teammates joined Pitta's cause, donning the shirts afterwards. Though, no one was more excited to show off their new gear than linebacker Terrell "T-Sizzle" Suggs.
