Browns' Robert Griffin: Scheduled for Monday MRI

Griffin will have an MRI on his left shoulder Monday, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Griffin suffered a sprained shoulder in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Eagles, and while he admitted after the game that he is in pain, he also said he expects to be available for Week 2 against the Ravens. He started his season on the wrong foot, completing just 12 of 26 passes for 190 yards, with five carries for another 37 yards, an interception and no touchdowns. Despite suffering the injury, Griffin came back out for the meaningless final drive of Sunday's game. If he isn't available next week, Josh McCown would be next in line to start.
