Patriots' Julian Edelman: Hauls in three passes Thursday

Edelman caught three of five targets for 28 yards in Thursday's preseason finale against the Giants.

Analysis:

Edelman was used sparingly in the game and appeared to emerge unscathed, which sets the stage for him to serve as the Patriots' top wideout to start the season, an assignment that carries with it fantasy utility (especially in PPR formats) as long as Edelman is able to stay healthy.
