Ravens expect Perriman to make NFL debut Thursday

Tommy Gilligan / USA TODAY Sports

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman is expected to get his first NFL action Thursday in the team's fourth preseason game against the New Orleans Saints.

The 26th overall pick in the 2015 draft missed his entire rookie season and the first three preseason games of 2016 with separate knee injuries.

"I've been waiting for a long time and it's finally coming," Perriman, who hasn't played a game since December 2014, said Tuesday. "Just to think about going out there with my teammates and my friends, it's crazy."

The 22-year-old receiver likely won't be rushed into the Ravens' lineup for Week 1, with healthy veterans Steve Smith, Mike Wallace, and Kamar Aiken on the roster.
