Patriots' Tre' Jackson: Placed on short-term IR
Jackson (knee) was placed on the Patriots' reserve/PUP list Monday.
Analysis:
Jackson underwent arthroscopic knee surgery during the offseason and entered training camp on the team's PUP list. He never rounded into form, though, and will now remain on said list to start the regular season. His first chance to return will be in a clash of AFC heavyweights when New England travels to Pittsburgh in Week 7.
