Eagles' Nelson Agholor: Unlikely to play Thursday

Agholor probably won't play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Jets, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Agholor only caught two passes for 30 yards through the Eagles' first three preseason tilts, but coach Doug Pederson says the wideout is where he needs to be ahead of Week 1. As a result, Agholor likely will be rested for Thursday's exhibition finale, which should allow Dorial Green-Beckham to get more reps at wide receiver as he continues to adjust to the Eagles' offense.
