Bills' LeSean McCoy: Won't play against Washington

McCoy will not play in Friday's preseason game against Washington, the Bills' official website reports.

Analysis:

With no injury reported, the Bills are likely just sitting McCoy in order to get a better look at their candidates for backup running back jobs. Following the recent release of Karlos Williams (suspension), the Bills will likely start either Mike Gillislee (concussion), Reggie Bush or Jonathan Williams in Friday's game, though James Wilder and Dan Herron could also mix in with the first-team offense.
