The NFL's premier tight end is at least another week away from suiting up for his first game of the season.

Rob Gronkowski is officially inactive for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury sustained during training camp.

Though his presence on the practice field continues to be a positive sign for the long-term outlook of his injury, the New England Patriots star has been a limited participant for weeks.

An expected timeline for his return has still yet to be made clear, so he'll continue to be evaluated on a week to week basis.

Martellus Bennett will remain atop the tight end depth chart until Gronkowski is cleared to make his return.

The nine-year veteran, acquired in an offseason trade with the Chicago Bears, recorded three catches for 14 yards in New England's season-opening win over the Arizona Cardinals.
