Giants' Victor Cruz: Solid Practice

Cruz (groin) practiced in full Tuesday for the first time this summer, showing quickness and burst, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Analysis:

Cruz beat some reserve cornerbacks off the line and took short passes for long gains during the drills. If his body responds well, he'll have a chance to play in the team's third preseason game against the Jets on Saturday. Cruz has some upside as a second or third receiver, but if he has any setbacks he could also be cut.
