Lions' TJ Jones: Poised for No. 4 receiver role

Jones appears to be the Lions' backup at outside receiver, the Detroit Free Press reports.

Analysis:

The Lions are expected to keep five wide receivers on their final 53-man roster, leaving two jobs up for grabs behind Golden Tate, Marvin Jones and Anquan Boldin. Jones, who has regularly filled in with the starting offense throughout training camp, seems to have solidified the No. 4 WR job due to his youth, return ability and upside within OC Jim Bob Cooter's offense. However, that gig comes without much of any upside fantasy-wise, leaving Jones a fantasy afterthought entering the 2016 campaign.
