Titans' Rishard Matthews: Outplayed by Tajae Sharpe
Matthews hauled in his lone target for six yards in Saturday's preseason game against the Panthers.
Analysis:
Matthews worked with the starters, but quarterback Marcus Mariota greatly preferred to look rookie Tajae Sharpe's (six catches for 68 yards) way. While the former Dolphins wide receiver is on track for a starting outside role with his new team, he'll have to earn more attention from Mariota if he wants to contribute in a meaningful way once the games start counting.
