Texans' Lamar Miller: More touches in preseason Week 2

Miller gained 16 yards on six carries and caught his lone target for four yards in Houston's win over New Orleans in preseason Week 2.

Analysis:

Miller played longer this week than he did in the preseason opener against the 49ers, but the production was unspectacular. The Houston attack is operating behind a makeshift offensive line, so we're not drawing too many conclusions from Miller's 2.7 yards per carry Saturday. Pay no mind to the stats; the goal is to keep Miller healthy through the exhibition games and have him ready for the regular season opener against the Bears.
