Texans' Braxton Miller: More work with first-team offense

Miller caught three of four targets for 34 yards in Houston's win over New Orleans in preseason Week 2 on Saturday.

Analysis:

For the second straight week, Miller received playing time with the first-team offense and, along with fellow rookie Will Fuller, was an active target for quarterback Brock Osweiler. The Texans intend to give Miller, considered a versatile playmaker, touches in whatever way possible. On Saturday, he was used on an effective bubble screen and also made a nice play on a crossing pattern. Once we ramp up to full speed and DeAndre Hopkins is playing full time, Miller's involvement will lessen, but the initial returns are hopeful for the former Ohio State quarterback. If he makes plays, he'll get his touches.
