Browns' Corey Coleman: Will not play Thursday

Coleman (hamstring) will not play Thursday against the Falcons, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports.

Analysis:

Coleman has been dealing with a nagging left hamstring injury since the first week of training camp, and although he stated Tuesday that his hamstring feels fine, it is clearly not worth the risk for the Browns to play their rookie first-rounder against Atlanta. He will look to continue practicing and could be ready to make his NFL debut against the Buccaneers on Aug. 26. Expect Terrelle Pryor and a multitude of other receivers to receive additional playing time Thursday in lieu of Coleman's absence.
