Browns' Robert Griffin: Unimpressive in Browns debut

Griffin completed four of eight passes for 67 yards with an interception in his Browns debut during Friday's preseason opener at Green Bay.

Analysis:

Griffin got just two series after officially being named Cleveland's starting quarterback Monday. The injury-prone 2012 second overall pick will likely be brought along slowly as he familiarizes himself with the playbook. It's unlikely the former Washington QB rediscovers his electrifying rookie form, but it's tough to extrapolate much from this small sample, especially with projected top two wideouts Corey Coleman (hamstring) and Josh Gordon (quad) both unavailable. He opened his Browns career with a 49-yard pass to Terrelle Pryor, but was also intercepted at the one-yard line by Micah Hyde.
