Steelers' Antonio Brown: Will not play Friday

Brown is not slated to play in Friday's preseason debut against the Lions, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Analysis:

Brown will watch from the sidelines on Friday night, accompanied by some of the Steelers' biggest offensive weapons: Ben Roethlisberger, Le'Veon Bell, DeAngelo Williams, and Maurkice Pouncey. The Steelers currently have 11 wideouts on the active roster, leaving plenty of young wideouts to fill in during Brown's absence.
