Green Bay Packers tight end Jared Cook, linebacker Sam Barrington, and wide receiver Ty Montgomery have been cleared for practice said head coach Mike McCarthy.

All three players began camp on the physically unable to perform list.

Cook will look to win the Packers' starting tight end job over Richard Rodgers after undergoing offseason foot surgery. He spent the last three season with the rams before signing as a free agent in late March.

Montgomery is expected to contribute as a depth receiver while Barrington will battle to regain his starting inside linebacker spot after being placed on injured reserve last September with a foot injury.
