Don't mess with Joe Flacco's guys.

Baltimore Ravens rookie linebacker Kamalei Correa learned the hard way after getting in a scuffle with veteran receiver Mike Wallace.

After Correa got in a fight with tight end Dennis Pitta at training camp, the rookie linebacker took a shot at Wallace causing Flacco to come sprinting up to Correa's face, according to ESPN's Jamison Hensley.

The rookie backed down after seeing whose skin he got under, which Flacco joked about later.

"I'm protected. I can say whatever I want because I got a whole army coming behind me," Flacco told reporters. "It wasn't nice, but, like I said, I really didn't have to be scared. He was too smart. I challenged him, seeing if he was willing to come after me a little bit and he made the right decision, I think."

Flacco also joked about Pitta's fight after the tight end, who is returning from a major hip injury, broke his finger in the scuffle with Correa.

"He got his little baby injury that he always gets in camp and gets himself out of a week in camp," Flacco told Hensley. "That's better than breaking his hip, though."

Pitta is expected to miss a few days with the injury.
