Vikings' Adrian Peterson: Dealing with pulled hamstring

Peterson is dealing with a pulled hamstring at the start of training camp, Ben Goessling of EPSN.com reports.

Analysis:

In a workout in advance of reporting to Mankato, Minn. on Thursday, Peterson sustained the injury, but head coach Mike Zimmer didn't appear concerned about the running back during Saturday's media availability. While his practice participation will likely be capped in the near term, the 31-year-old should be back to his usual self before the Vikings' first preseason game at Cincinnati on Aug. 12.
