After confirming that suspended linebacker Rolando McClain did not report to training camp, the Dallas Cowboys announced that they will be without the services of another linebacker for a different reason.

"We have a player that was hit in the eye by a paintball that won't be here for 2-3 weeks," owner Jerry Jones told reporters about absent depth linebacker Damien Wilson at Friday's press conference.

Wilson, 23, was scheduled to enter his second season with the Cowboys this summer, but will have to wait for his embarrassing injury to heal before he gets a chance to compete for McClain's empty spot.

Wilson was placed on the physically unable to perform list as opposed to the non-football injury list, which is odd considering a paintball injury is pretty much exactly what that list is for.
