Titans' Kevin Dodd: Starting camp on PUP list

Dodd (foot) has been placed on the Titans' PUP list to begin training camp.

Analysis:

Dodd had a screw inserted into his foot during a May surgery to repair a stress fracture, but isn't expected to miss much of the start of training camp. The rookie second-rounder will be reevaluated every few days, according to coach Mike Mularkey, who also said Dodd will work on his conditioning in the meantime. Once healthy, Dodd figures to give the Titans a big-bodied edge defender, and he should benefit from playing behind veteran Brian Orakpo to start his career.
