Buccaneers' Cameron Brate: Successful down the field on Day 1 of camp

Brate hauled in a nice seam pass from Mike Glennon during the Bucs' first full training camp session Thursday, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.

Analysis:

The 25-year-old experienced a breakout season of sorts in 2015 in the wake of Austin Seferian-Jenkins' extended absence due to a shoulder injury. Brate often excelled at getting downfield on intermediate routes much like the one that led to the successful connection with Glennon on Thursday, and is expected to be deployed in a high-usage complementary role in 2016 with Seferian-Jenkins' return to health.
