Patriots' Tom Brady: Will share training camp reps

With Brady in line to serve a four-game suspension to start the season, coach Bill Belichick acknowledged Wednesday that now that the team finally has "some definition with Tom's situation...our priority now is to get Jimmy (Garoppolo) ready for the start of the season," ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

As training camp progresses, both Brady and Garoppolo, as well as rookie Jacoby Brissett to a lesser degree, will see their share of practice reps. Per Belichick, "Tom will return as the starting quarterback when he comes back, but in the meantime, we have to prioritize the first part of our schedule, and that will be to get Jimmy ready to go." Garoppolo is thus slated to start the first four games of the coming season for the Patriots, while Brady will be eligible to return to action in Week 5 against the Browns.
