Packers' Corey Linsley: Sidelined to begin training camp

The Packers have placed Linsley (undisclosed) on the PUP list to begin training camp, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

Linsley missed the entirety of Green Bay's offseason program with an injury he himself has refused to comment upon, and although he proclaimed he'd be ready for the start of training camp, team doctors have the final say as to when Linsley can resume practicing. His Week 1 availability doesn't appear to be jeopardy, but J.C. Tretter will be the next man up in the event that Linsley can't play.
