Report: Eagles' Bradham arrested on assault charges

Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham turned himself in to Miami Beach Police on Monday and is being charged with the beating of a hotel employee, NBC Miami reports.

Bradham, along with a group of friends, got in an argument with the employee over an umbrella they had paid for when things escalated to a physical confrontation. The victim suffered cuts and lacerations to the back of his head, apparently due to a smashed bottle.

The group of alleged assaulters fled the scene, but left a phone, which was turned over to police along with Bradham's receipt from paying for the umbrella with his credit card.

Bradham signed with the Eagles in free agency after four seasons with the Buffalo Bills.

Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports Bradham is still expected to report to camp.
