Jaguars' Jalen Ramsey: Ready for training camp
Ramsey (knee) will be ready for the start of training camp, according to general manager Dave Caldwell, NFL.com reports.
Analysis:
Ramsey had surgery in May to repair a partial tear in his right meniscus, but was back running just a month later, easing concern over his status. Now, with Caldwell deeming his rookie first-rounder full-go for camp, Ramsey's knee problem appears to be in the past. The fifth overall pick in this year's draft, Ramsey has all the makings of a top-tier defensive back and should compete for a starting role once the Jaguars open camp Thursday.
