The summer of Gronk has invaded the ball diamond.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski took his talents to Fenway Park on Tuesday, where the NFL star teamed up with music buddy David Ortiz for the ceremonial first pitch before Boston's game against San Francisco.

After flashing his trademark tongue wag and a sneaky peak toward first base, Gronkowski fired a solid strike down the middle to retiring Red Sox legend Big Papi.

It's the latest stop in Gronk's summer tour of fun, which has included everything from rocking out on stage with Paul McCartney to appearing in music videos with Ortiz.
