Veteran CB Tillman retires

Veteran cornerback Charles Tillman took to social media to announce his retirement on Monday.

Tillman ended his NFL career after 13 seasons by taking to Twitter and posting a YouTube video.

The 35-year-old Tillman was a two-time Pro Bowl selection and a 2013 Walter Payton Man of the Year recipient.

Tillman played in 12 games with Carolina in 2015, recording 55 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. The four contests he missed were due to a partially torn ACL, but Tillman returned to play on the injury for the final three weeks of the regular season.

Selected in the second round of the 2003 draft, Tillman recorded 911 tackles, 38 interceptions and 44 forced fumbles in his career with the Chicago Bears and Panthers.
