Bills' Robert Woods: Readying for key role
Woods appears to have taken his game up a notch throughout offseason work so far and was the best receiver during this week's minicamp, BuffaloBills.com reports.
Analysis:
While offseason minicamp stories should always get taken with a grain of salt, the takeaway here is that Woods will enter the season a lot healthier than last year. Of course, Sammy Watkins will get most of the targets, but with his health always a question mark and no clear No. 3 or 4 receiver behind him, Woods could see a lot of single coverage and secondary targets. A step up from his 47 catches for 552 yards in 14 games a year ago is not out of the question.
