Buccaneers' Josh Robinson: Works with second-team defense, special teams Tuesday
Robinson, an offseason acquistion most recently with the Vikings, practiced on both the second-team defense and special teams in Tuesday's mini-camp session, Joe Kania of the team's official site reports.
Analysis:
The 25-year-old corner, a rather unheralded but potentially key component of the Bucs' offseason effort to revamp their beleaguered secondary, was seen working with the second-team defense Tuesday. Robinson also took reps as a gunner on the punt team, an area in which he has plenty of experience. The UCF product notably was in on 538 special-teams snaps over the first four years of his career with the Vikings, and the versatility will only serve to enhance his chances of sticking on the final roster come September.
