Raiders' Mario Edwards: Logs first full-length practice

Edwards revealed his season-ending neck injury was just a sprain and "was always confident he'd be back at full health," Scott Bair of CSN California reports.

Analysis:

Edwards participated in minicamp Tuesday, logging his first full-length practice of the offseason. Afterword, he addressed concerns over the veiled neck injury he suffered during Oakland's Week 15 loss to Green Bay and explained he had only been dealing with a sprain. Amid speculation that he may never be able to play again, it appears Edwards is on track for a full recovery. This is obviously a fantastic reality for the 2015 second-rounder, but is also great news for the Raiders, who will remain without Aldon Smith (suspension) for at least the beginning of 2016.
