Bills' LeSean McCoy: Takes part in individual drills

McCoy (hamstring) took part in individual drills Tuesday at minicamp, Chris Brown of the Bills' website reports.

Analysis:

Merely dealing with some minor hamstring tightness, McCoy missed a few practices and will likely be somewhat limited during this week's mandatory minicamp. His training camp availability doesn't seem to be in question, but it is worth noting that he dealt with hamstring issues for much of last year. Second-year runner Karlos Williams is one of the league's more valuable handcuffs, even offering stand-alone appeal in the vast majority of leagues. The Bills led the NFL in rushing yards (2,432), YPC (4.8) and rushing touchdowns (19) last year, with their 509 carries ranking second only to Carolina's 526. Even if quarterback rushing numbers were subtracted, the Bills still would have finished among the top five in nearly every significant running category.
