Chargers' Keenan Allen: Signs four-year extension

Allen agreed to a four-year contract extension, worth more than $11 million per season, with the Chargers on Friday, The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Analysis:

Allen was on his way to a career year in 2015 before his season was cut short by a lacerated kidney, but the setback did not stop the Chargers from inking him to a contract that will run through 2020. Allen does not figure to be limited by his injury when the regular season begins, which is good news for both those that end up with him on their fantasy squad and quarterback Philip Rivers: Allen's average of 11.1 targets per game last year was the best on the team.
