While most relocation talks are kept to a minimum before any deal is made, Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis has no problem speaking about his potential move to Las Vegas.

Davis hasn't given up hope that a deal can be done to keep the Raiders in the Bay Area, but he's more than ready to move on if Vegas comes through first.

"I’ve given my commitment to Las Vegas, and if they can come through with what they’ve talked about doing, then we’ll go to Las Vegas," Davis told NFL Network, according to Pro Football Talk. "I’m excited about it. It’s a new market. It’s got the potential to be a really exciting market."

Davis is aware that a move would upset local fans, but remains confident that their large national fan base will appreciate the potential centralized location.

"The Raider fans in Northern California get upset a little bit when we talk about going to Los Angeles, and the L.A. fans get a little ticked off at the fans in Northern California," Davis said. "So it seems like Las Vegas is a neutral site that everybody’s kind of bought into.

"It will unite the Raider nation more than divide it."

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft recently joined Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones in support of the move. Former Raiders safety Ronnie Lott is leading a group to support the team staying in Oakland, while head coach Jack Del Rio says his players are staying focused on football.

Davis has pledged $500 million to a potential stadium if Las Vegas can develop a viable plan and get financial approval. Davis would also need the support of 24 NFL owners to move his team.
