Jaguars' Ramsey signs rookie deal

The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed first-round pick Jalen Ramsey to a rookie contract, the team announced Sunday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed, but it will be a standard four-year contract with a fifth-year team option for the fifth overall pick.

Ramsey suffered what the Jaguars described as a small tear in his knee during a recent workout with the team. He is scheduled to undergo further medical testing this week, and is estimated to miss anywhere from six weeks (which would put him on track to be back in time for training camp) to several months (which would put his availability for the start of the regular season in question).
