Pederson: All 3 Eagles QBs will split reps equally for now

For now, Sam Bradford, Carson Wentz, and Chase Daniel will share the Philadelphia Eagles' offense.

Head coach Doug Pederson said that all three quarterbacks will get an equal share of the team's practice reps at this point of the offseason.

"I don't know if you counted reps today but in all the scripted team periods it was equal, so all three quarterbacks got the same amount," said Pederson, according to Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice. "I'm not sure what the last period was - it was unscripted - but it was probably pretty similar. And that's the way we're going to approach the offseason."

Pederson admitted that the starter, which they've reiterated is Bradford, will see his time with the offense increase compared to the other two passers once the Eagles get to training camp. However, he doesn't believe limiting Bradford's snaps now will be detrimental moving forward.

"This time of the year, no," he said. "All three of these guys are smart guys, they are sharp guys. I don't have any issues with dividing it up three ways. I know once we get later into camp, we need to get our starter, Sam, we need to give him more reps, but right now I'm not concerned with that."

With the NFL severely restricting the amount of time teams are allowed to spend performing meaningful practices, it's a questionable decision by Pederson to not give Bradford as much help as possible - especially as the 28-year-old is attempting to learn a whole new offense this offseason.
