The New York Giants are set to host veteran cornerback Leon Hall on a free-agent visit Tuesday, according to Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports.
Hall was expected to be off the market by now, but a reported offseason back surgery appears to have made teams cautious to sign him.
The 31-year-old didn't play up to his usual standards in 2015, but could still provide veteran depth, and his man-coverage skills would make him an ideal fit in New York.
The Giants' starters appear set, with big money free-agent addition Janoris Jenkins likely to be paired with Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. The team also spent a first-round pick on cornerback Eli Apple; however, his raw skill set means the Giants are still looking to add to their secondary.
