GM Trent Baalke left open the possibility that Kaepernick (shoulder/knee/thumb) could be traded this week, ESPN.com reports.

Analysis:

"I wouldn't say we are out there looking for it, but I wouldn't rule it out," Baalke noted, as Thursday's NFL Draft approaches. While we wouldn't expect all of the teams with fluid QB situations to engage in a flurry of trades this week, the draft does present a window that favors such movement. With that in mind, another QB who could potentially be on the move is Philadelphia's Sam Bradford. In the meantime, Kaepernick -- who is recovering from shoulder, thumb and knee surgeries this offseason -- is attending the 49ers' voluntary minicamp this week, but he still isn't throwing at this stage.
