Colts select DT Hassan Ridgeway in 4th round
Matthew Emmons / USA TODAY Sports
The Indianapolis Colts have selected defensive tackle Hassan Ridgeway out of Texas in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Ridgeway will be used as a depth player early on and the Colts will hope to pair him with last year's draft steal, Henry Anderson. He was projected to be a first or second round pick if he had returned to Texas for another season.
Hassam Ridgeway Bio
Position: DT
School: Texas
College Experience: Junior
Height: 6-3

Strengths
- Excellent initial momentum to barrel through armbars and bully his way through the shoulders of blockers. (CBS Sports)
- More raw talent than 2015 first-round teammate Malcom Brown.
- Demonstrated aptitude as an inside pass-rusher, tallying 9.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss over his last two seasons.

Weaknesses
- May not be able to endure a full-snap workload - conditioning has limited him in the past.
- Soft-tissue injuries kept him from playing a full slate of games in 2015, while back and shoulder injuries could continue to hamper him.
- Production dipped from sophomore to junior years.
