Bears add S DeAndre Houston-Carson in 6th round

The Chicago Bears have selected safety DeAndre Houston-Carson out of William & Mary 185th overall in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Houston-Carson's versatility should allow him to play corner or safety for the Bears. He'll provide some depth for a secondary that needs to get younger.

- Sports the versatility to play either cornerback or safety at the NFL level.

- Excels as special teams gunner.
- Does a good job of disengaging from blockers.
Weaknesses
- Over-aggression in run game leads him to take poor routes to ball carrier.
- It may be an adjustment for him at the professional level after starring against inferior competition in the FCS.
- Needs to stop relying on recovery speed when beat off the line of scrimmage.
