NFL Game Summary - Detroit at Buffalo

Orchard Park, NY (Sports Network) - Kellen Moore and Shaun Hill each had a pair of touchdown passes as the Detroit Lions thumped the Buffalo Bills, 35-13, in the final preseason matchup for both squads.

Hill was 4-for-5 for 69 yards while Moore went 10-for-18 for 78 yards for the Lions, who went 3-1 in the preseason. Theo Riddick caught two passes, both for touchdowns, in the win.

The Lions, who went 4-12 last season, open up their 2013 campaign at home against Minnesota in a NFC North battle.

Thad Lewis had a touchdown pass while Matt Leinart was picked off twice and went just 3-for-10 for 11 yards for the Bills, who were 2-2 in the preseason.

Buffalo starts its season at home against New England in an AFC East matchup.

Hill connected with Pat Edwards for an 8-yard score in the first quarter, and later hit Kris Durham on a 6-yard TD for a 14-0 lead after 15 minutes.

Joique Bell had a 23-yard touchdown run in the second quarter for a 21-0 lead, while Dustin Hopkins got the Bills on the board with a 38-yard field goal.

Riddick had touchdown catches of eight and four yards from Moore to give the Lions a 35-3 lead at the break.

Hopkins added a 36-yard field goal in the third, while Marcus Easley caught a 79-yard TD from Lewis in the fourth quarter to account for the final score.
