Chargers land top TE Hunter Henry in 2nd round
Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports
The San Diego Chargers have selected tight end Hunter Henry out of Arkansas in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 35th overall.
Henry, this year's consensus top player at the position, gives San Diego a potential long-term replacement for an aging Antonio Gates.
His ability in the passing game, combined with a clear willingness to contribute as an in-line blocker, could quickly make him a valuable every-down player on the Chargers' offense.
