The Philadelphia Eagles gave a big-money contract to quarterback Sam Bradford ahead of free agency, then another hefty deal to former Kansas City Chiefs backup Chase Daniel.

But, despite the 10s of millions committed to these two players, the Eagles don't appear to be satisfied entering the season with only the pair on the roster.

The Eagles are meeting with several of the top quarterback prospects in next month's draft, according to multiple reports, suggesting it's a position they plan to target in the draft.

Team executives and coaches, including owner Jeffrey Lurie, had dinner with Cal passer Jared Goff on Monday and then North Dakota State pivot Carson Wentz the next night, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

The Eagles moved from the 13th overall pick to No. 8 as part of the Byron Maxwell/Kiko Alonso trade, which could put them in range to grab one of the top passing prospects in this draft.

The Eagles are also slated to work out Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg on April 8, according to NFL Network's Albert Breer, so it appears they are also mulling selecting a quarterback outside of the first round.
